Martin Göbl

Prof. Dr. Martin Göbl is a Professor in the Department of Logistics and Business Management at Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Business Administration. He serves as Program Coordinator for the Logistics (Master) program, Internationalization Officer, Deputy Head of Professional School, and Head of the International Officers' MBA program. His career spans military logistics roles with the Bundeswehr, consultancy, and executive positions in supply chain management at Paul Hartmann AG.

Education: Studied Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen at Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg, completed a PhD externally during his Bundeswehr tenure. Participated in an International Management Program in Australia. Research focuses on strategic logistics, performance measurement, supply chain optimization, and sustainability. He has authored/co-authored numerous publications on logistics strategy, supply chain management, and digitalization impacts.

His research interests include customer service level analysis, e-sourcing platforms, and logistics network analysis. Publications highlight contributions to sustainable logistics practices, carbon footprint analysis in supply chains, and the role of digital tools in procurement efficiency. He leads initiatives in international logistics education and strategic logistics management.
