Prof. Dr. Martin E. Ruckes is a Professor of Financial Economics and Banking at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), within the School of Business and Economics and the Department of Finance and Banking. He has held this position since February 2007 and previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Business. He is actively involved in PhD supervision and academic leadership, including serving as Academic Dean from 2013 to 2016.
