Martijn Schoot Uiterkamp is an Assistant Professor in Operations Research at Tilburg University's Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM), within the Department of Econometrics and Operations Research. He holds a PhD from the University of Twente (2021) and conducted postdoctoral research at Eindhoven University of Technology before joining Tilburg in January 2023.
His expertise spans optimization, mathematical modeling, and data-driven decision-making, with a focus on applying these to societal challenges such as energy transition and pandemic preparedness.
