Martijn Baart is an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University's Department of Cognitive Neuropsychology within the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. His research focuses on cognitive psychology, speech perception, multisensory integration, and cognitive development. He teaches courses in Experimental Psychology and Academic Skills, emphasizing both Dutch and English programs. Recent work explores electrophysiological correlates of speech adaptation, trust perception in multimodal contexts, and neurodevelopmental foundations of speech processing in noisy environments. Collaborations with researchers like Jean Vroomen and Julie Bertels highlight his interdisciplinary approach.
