Martha White

Martha White is Associate Professor in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta. Her research develops efficient reinforcement learning algorithms for sequential decision-making problems.

Research investigates representation learning, sample-efficient methods, and stable function approximation. Recent work examines policy optimization without replay buffers, real-time recurrent learning, and transfer learning without performance degradation.
