Martha Larson

Professor Martha Larson is a faculty member at Radboud University, holding positions in the Department of Language and Communication and the Centre for Language Studies. She chairs the Multimedia Information Technology research group and collaborates with the Mohrmann Fonds. Her work focuses on intelligent access to multimedia content through search engines, recommendation systems, and speech recognition technologies.

• Research Interests: Recommender systems, information retrieval, multimedia analysis, language and speech technology, social network multimedia anonymization, and human computation.
• Teaching: Supervises courses including Text and Multimedia Mining, Bachelor Thesis, and Master Thesis programs across Computing Science, Information Sciences, and Communication disciplines.
