Martha Fusco is an Instructor of Accounting at St. Vincent College. She holds a BSBA from Duquesne University, an MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is a PhD candidate in Business with a focus on accounting and a finance minor. Her research interests center on the impact of big data and data analytics on accounting and auditing practices. With over 23 years of professional experience, she has worked at Deloitte in public accounting and held senior financial roles at Kennametal Inc., including VP Finance and Corporate Controller. She transitioned to academia in 2019 to serve her community through education. Fusco is a certified public accountant (Pennsylvania) and active member of the PICPA, AICPA, and American Accounting Association.
