Martha Felini

Martha Felini, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of North Texas Health Science Center. Her research focuses on epidemiological studies addressing gene-environment interactions in cancer risk, particularly among high-risk populations such as meat processing workers, trafficking victims, and underserved communities. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has led interdisciplinary projects resulting in legislative changes (e.g., Texas Senate Bill 484) and securing major funding from organizations like CPRIT.
