Marta Tomczyk

Marta Tomczyk is a Professor at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, where she serves as Head of the Print Interpretation Workshop within the Institute of Artistic Education. Her role is integral to the Art Education program in visual arts, fostering interdisciplinary artistic expression through print media.

Her research emphasizes Printmaking, Graphic Design, and Art Education, with a focus on the awareness and purposefulness of print forms and their elements. The workshop curriculum develops technical proficiency in traditional techniques like intaglio while encouraging exploration beyond technical constraints to cultivate original artistic expression through conceptual meaning and visual interpretation.
