Marta Talaveron Rey

Marta Talaveron Rey is a researcher affiliated with the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Cell Biology at Universidad Pablo de Olavide. She is associated with the Andalusian Center for Developmental Biology (CABD) and the research group DEM Muscle Development and Diseases, focusing on biology and biotechnology disciplines.

Her research interests include molecular biology, muscle development, and neurodegenerative diseases. She completed her PhD in 2024 under the supervision of Dr. José Antonio Sánchez Alcázar, investigating the effects of alpha-lipoic acid in cellular models of neurodegenerative disorders.
