Marta Peris Eugenio

Marta Peris Eugenio serves as a Lecturer at the Institute of Architecture within the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). She is an active member of the SAR Teaching Committee and conducts studio courses for third-year bachelor students in Building BP.

Her research and teaching focus centers on architectural spatial theory, specifically the application of Louis Kahn's principles regarding "served and servant spaces" to contemporary collective housing typologies. This work bridges historical architectural theory with practical design methodologies for multi-unit residential structures.

As an educator, she co-leads Studio BA3 with Toral in dedicated architecture studios (AR-201 and AR-202), emphasizing foundational design comprehension through hands-on spatial organization exercises. Her teaching methodology prioritizes translating theoretical concepts into tangible housing solutions while developing students' critical design capabilities.
