Marta Muñoz Frigola is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Girona. She coordinates the Biodiversity and Marine Resources Research Group (GR MAR) at the Institute of Aquatic Ecology and contributes to the Marine Conservation research group (MedRecover). Her work focuses on marine fish reproductive biology and ecological interactions.
Research Interests:
- Reproductive biology of marine fish
- Impact of fishing and environmental change
- Marine protected areas
- Fish condition and parasitism
Teaching: Instructs courses in Biology, Environmental Sciences, and the Master's program in Environmental Change and Socio-Ecological Transition.
