Marta Morey Ramonell

Marta Morey Ramonell is an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona's Faculty of Biology, Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Statistics. She holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona (2003) and a Licenciatura in Biology (1998). She is affiliated with the REGnetREG research group and leads several grants focused on neural circuit assembly, synaptic specificity, and neurodevelopmental mechanisms.

Publications highlight studies on Drosophila neural circuit development, synaptic layer specificity, and glial roles in neurogenesis. Key contributions include work on Robo receptors in axon guidance and Wnt signaling in retinal development.
