Dr. Marta Kołacz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Private Law, Faculty of Law, Maastricht University. Her research focuses on legal frameworks for smart and sustainable transport/logistics systems, including data sharing, blockchain applications, and environmental regulations. She holds a double Doctor of Law degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam and University of Antwerp, completing her thesis on cooperative logistics in the sharing economy.
Her research projects have been supported by grants from Visegrad (University of Brno), Marie Skłodowska-Curie (University of Rouen Normandie), and Erasmus+ (University of Leeds). Notable projects include blockchain for sustainable carriage of goods, carbon-free last-mile delivery systems, and competition law aspects of logistics contracts.
