Marshall Glesby, M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor of Medicine and Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medical College, serving as Associate Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases and Director of the Cornell HIV Clinical Trials Unit. He provides longitudinal care to HIV-infected patients at the Center for Special Studies and contributes to clinical trials through the NIH-sponsored AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG).

Research Interests encompass metabolic complications of HIV therapy, aging in HIV patients, tropical co-infections (leishmaniasis, HTLV-I), and cardiometabolic interactions in HIV. His work bridges clinical trials, immunological biomarker discovery, and public health implications of HIV comorbidities.
Recent Publications highlight HIV-1 remission post-haplo-cord transplant, mpox severity scoring systems, and mitochondrial DNA as a biomarker for geriatric syndromes. These studies span disciplines including Infectious Diseases, Neuroscience, and Public Health.
