Marnie Chapman is a Professor of Biology at the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS), affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Natural Sciences. She specializes in intertidal ecology, marine invasive species, and biology education. Her roles include lab director for Sitka Distance Science courses and community outreach initiatives.

Active in education, she co-developed standards for undergraduate anatomy and physiology courses through HAPS and pioneered UAS's distance science programs.
