Marlène Frigon is a Full Professor at the University of Montreal, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Department of Mathematics and Statistics. She specializes in nonlinear analysis, differential equations, and fixed point theory.
- Research Interests: Differential equations, fixed point theorems, critical point theory, variational methods, and topological techniques in nonlinear analysis.
She leads research projects on fixed and critical point theorems for differential equations and their applications, funded by FRQNT (2022-2029) and NSERC (2013-2022). Her work includes collaborations with the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM).
Advising: Supervised 17 graduate students (10 PhD, 7 Master’s) since 1996, including Julien Mayrand (2024), François Larivière (2019), and Toktam Dinevari (2015). Teaches advanced analysis courses and contributes to interdisciplinary programs like Baccalauréat en mathématiques et informatique.
