Dr. Marleen Haupt is a postdoctoral researcher at the Neural Dynamics of Visual Cognition Lab within the Department of Education and Psychology at Freie Universität Berlin. Her work focuses on understanding how visual processing dynamics adapt across lifespan changes and sensory deprivation, using techniques like fMRI, EEG, and multivariate pattern analysis. She holds a PhD in Systemic Neurosciences from LMU Munich (2020) and an MSc in Neuro-Cognitive Psychology from LMU Munich (2016).
Her current research explores:
- Neural reorganization in congenital blindness using fMRI to study Braille reading
- Aging-related changes in visual object representations through lifespan fMRI/EEG studies
- ERC-funded project on visual processing transformations across development
Supervising lab rotations for:
- KayLee Flower (M.Sc., Humboldt University)
- Paulina María Pineda Zenizo (M.Sc., Charité)
Labs/Teams:
- Principal Investigator: Dr. Radoslaw M. Cichy
- Collaboration: Max Planck Institute for Lifespan Development
