Marla Alhadeff is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia Law School, teaching courses such as Legal Practice Workshop I and II. She currently serves as Managing Counsel at McKinsey & Company, leading the Healthcare Legal team and overseeing Strategic Initiatives within the Legal Department. Previously, she held senior roles at Bank of New York Mellon as Deputy General Counsel, managing global litigation and technology legal affairs, and at Deutsche Bank as Senior Counsel. With a career rooted in litigation, she began as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, where she held leadership positions including Chief Appellate Attorney and Chief of the Civil Division.
Her legal expertise spans complex litigation, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and strategic legal management. Alhadeff earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from SUNY Binghamton. She has received notable awards for her contributions to public service and legal excellence.
