Univ.-Prof. Markus Öhler is a Professor at the Faculty of Protestant Theology, University of Vienna. He serves as Vice Dean and Head of the Institute for New Testament Studies. His research focuses on the history of early Christianity, exegesis of the New Testament, and the intersection of theology and religious history in antiquity, with particular attention to late antique Christian developments in Rome.
