Markus Tauschek

Prof. Dr. Markus Tauschek, Professor of European Ethnology at the University of Freiburg since 2015, specializes in cultural heritage, popular culture, and competition studies. He has held leadership roles including Vice Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy (2018–2023) and Director of the Center for Popular Culture and Music (ZPKM).
