Prof. Dr. Markus Strohmaier holds the Chair of Data Science in the Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim Business School. His research develops computational methods for analyzing textual and relational data to understand human social and economic behavior. The chair offers courses at master's and PhD levels and supervises theses.
