Markus Heinker

Markus Heinker is a Professor at the Faculty of Media of Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. He is a trainee journalist with a doctorate in law (LL.M.), focusing on the intersection of media markets and media law, particularly public broadcasting.

• Expert panel member for gambling advertising evaluation at the Joint Gambling Authority of German States

Before joining Mittweida, he worked as a media producer/manager (e.g., news editor at Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk) and as a media law specialist for 10 years. His practical expertise complements his academic work in media policy and legal frameworks.
