Markus Glaser

Prof. Dr. Markus Glaser is a Professor and Head of the Institute for Capital Markets and Finance at LMU Munich School of Management. Effective October 2025, he will also serve as Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, succeeding Prof. Dr. Christian Hofmann. His research focuses on Corporate Finance and Behavioral Finance, particularly exploring managerial voting power, investor decision-making biases, and the impact of governance structures on firm value. Glaser has authored influential studies on overconfidence in financial markets, diversification discounts, and the behavioral drivers of trading volume.
