Markus Enzweiler

Prof. Dr. Markus Enzweiler serves as Professor for Autonomous Mobile Systems and Director of the Institute for Intelligent Systems at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering within the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. His career bridges industry R&D at Daimler/Mercedes-Benz AG (2010-2021) and academia, specializing in sensor-based perception for autonomous systems.

His educational background includes undergraduate studies at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (2001-2003), York University (2002-2003), Ulm University (2004-2005), and a doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) from Heidelberg University (2006-2011).
