Markus Biehl is a Professor of Operations Management & Information Systems at the Schulich School of Business, York University. He specializes in responsible business practices, sustainable operations, and the integration of operations and information systems. His research explores environmental management, supply chain innovation, and global operations, supported by grants from agencies like SSHRC and NSERC. He has held leadership roles including Associate Dean Academic, Director of the International MBA program, and Senior Advisor for Accreditations and Rankings. His teaching spans MBA and executive programs, focusing on operations, supply chain analytics, and sustainability. He advises organizations on sustainable operations and has founded the Supply Chain and Operations Management Club (APICS chapter).
