Markos Asprou is a Research Lecturer at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, University of Cyprus. He holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cyprus (2009, 2015). His expertise includes power systems monitoring using synchronized measurements, transmission line parameter estimation, wide area control, and cybersecurity of power systems.
