Dr. Marko Šundov is a candidate for the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of International Economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka. His research focuses on global business risk management and resilient supply chain development. On 21 December 2021, he delivered an inaugural lecture titled «Smanjenje rizika globalnog poslovanja izgradnjom otpornog lanca opskrbe» (Reducing Global Business Risks Through Resilient Supply Chain Development). The event was hosted in the Faculty’s Predavaonica 10 and via an online link.
The lecture was evaluated by a committee including Prof. Tomislav Galović (Chair), Doc. Ivan Uroda, and Prof. Želimir Dulčić (University of Split). Attendees included Faculty Council members and students of the Faculty of Economics. This milestone reflects his scholarly contributions to international economic studies and supply chain resilience strategies.
