Marko Ristić is a Researcher at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, University of Belgrade, and a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. He serves as Deputy Editor of Khōrein: Journal for Architecture and Philosophy.
His educational background includes bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade, where he is currently pursuing doctoral studies.
His research focuses on architectural theory and philosophy, methodology of architectural design, phenomenology, and philosophy of technology. His doctoral work explores the theory of plasticity, examining the dynamic adaptability of architectural forms and concepts through philosophical frameworks.
Recent publications demonstrate interdisciplinary synthesis across philosophy, architecture, and media studies, with emphasis on critiques of instrumental reason and reinterpretations of Bachelard’s surrationalism.
The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory hosts nine specialized laboratories including CriticLab (Laboratory for Social Critique) and PerspectLab (Laboratory for Theory, Creation, and Politics of Space), providing infrastructure for his research in architectural-philosophical intersections.
