Mark Vanderlaan is an Instructor of Thermal Fluids I in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. from Florida State University. His research interests focus on applications of liquid helium in superconducting magnets, multi-layer insulation (MLI) for space applications, and micro-gravity fluid dynamics. His work bridges thermal engineering and aerospace technology.
