Mark Stanbrough serves as Professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Emporia State University, Kansas, where he directs the NCACE-accredited Coaching Education program and teaches graduate/undergraduate courses in exercise physiology and sports psychology.
His educational credentials include a PhD in exercise physiology from the University of Oregon and undergraduate/master's degrees in physical education from Emporia State University.
Dr. Stanbrough's research centers on Exercise Physiology, Sports Psychology, and Coaching Education, highlighted by co-founding the first fully online physical education graduate program in the United States and advancing Emporia State's Coaching Education program to national accreditation.
His distinguished honors include:

His professional service includes the NASPE National Sport Steering Committee and NCACE Board of Directors.
