Mark Roman Miller

Mark Roman Miller is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Illinois Institute of Technology specializing in virtual and augmented reality through the lenses of communication, security, and data science. He investigates the evolving communication landscape within augmented reality, addressing both its potential and challenges, while also examining the vast data generated by VR/AR devices for scientific insights and privacy risks.

Miller's research interests focus on Virtual and Augmented Reality, Human-Computer Interaction, Cybersecurity, and Data Science, with particular attention to nonverbal communication, emotion expression, and privacy implications in virtual environments.
