Mark Oswald

Mark Oswald is a Lecturer at the Institute for Building Physics Quality Assurance at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences. He has been serving since 2022 and has a long-standing affiliation with the institution dating back to 2000.

• Education: Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Engineering from Erfurt University of Applied Sciences.

His research focuses on energy assessment of buildings, building management systems, and instrumentation and control technologies. He has extensive experience in technical equipment development, service engineering, and R&D project acquisition.

Oswald previously held roles as a technical employee at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences (2013–2021) and as a freelance researcher at the Institute for Building Physics Quality Assurance (2000–2013). He also worked as an innovation consultant and project manager in the housing industry.
