Mark Miller

Mark Miller is an Adjunct Professor at the Anisfield School of Business (ASB) at Ramapo College of New Jersey since 2017. Concurrently, he serves as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence, working to establish Ramapo as a leader in practical entrepreneurial studies. As CEO of Biosynthetic Technologies, an early-stage bio-based petroleum replacement company, and co-founder/CEO of the now-defunct Terresolve Technologies, he brings extensive industry expertise to his academic role.

• BSChE in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University
• MBA from Manhattan College

Teaching interests span entrepreneurship, management, macroeconomics, and sustainability. Research focuses on entrepreneurship, failure analysis, and leadership development. He actively contributes to industry standards as Vice Chair of ASTM Subcommittee D02.12 on Environmental Standards for Lubricants.

In addition to academic and entrepreneurial pursuits, Miller serves on the board of The National Foundation For Animal Rescue (NAFFAR), reflecting his commitment to community engagement. His office is located in ASB-329, and he can be reached at (201) 684-7378.
