Rev. Dr. Mark Koschmann is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Theology and Ministry at Concordia University, St. Paul. He serves as Vice President of Faith and Ministry and Chief Mission Officer, overseeing CSP Ministry and Church Relations while leading seminars on Lutheran Higher Education.

His research focuses on twentieth-century religion, race, and urban history, examining how Christian congregations adapted to urban changes post-WWII. He also explores early Christianity's urban context in the New Testament era and speaks frequently on Law and Gospel Theology.
Dr. Koschmann's academic work intersects with themes like Christian outreach, Lutheran theological education, and urban ministry challenges. He directs the Solus Christus Fellows program, a student mentoring initiative at CSP’s Hoffmann Institute.
