Mark Kendrick

Mark Kendrick is Associate Professor of Geochemistry at the University of Queensland's School of the Environment. His research investigates volatile element cycling between Earth's surface and mantle reservoirs.

Research focuses:

• Ocean lithosphere alteration
• Subduction zone processes
• Mantle geochemistry

Kendrick participated in International Ocean Discovery Program Expedition 360 to the SW Indian Ridge, analyzing seafloor alteration processes. His geochemical techniques include fluid inclusion analysis, in-situ U-Pb dating, and isotopic tracing of volatile recycling in arc magmas.
