Mark Kainz is a Professor of Biology at Ripon College since 2008, holding the Patricia and Philip McCullough Class of 1969 Professorship. He teaches Genetics, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Virology, and contributes to Introductory Biology and Scientific Writing & Communication courses. He co-developed the Catalyst curriculum capstone course “Bring out your dead: Infectious disease through history” with History Professor Matzke and oversees Ripon’s Catalyst general education program.
