Dr. Mark Irwin, DO is a GME (Graduate Medical Education) Fellow in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Kentucky's College of Medicine. He completed a Master of Science degree at Lincoln Memorial University (June 2015–May 2016) and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (August 2016–May 2020). He served his Internal Medicine residency at UNC Health Blue Ridge from July 2020 to June 2023 before beginning his current Infectious Diseases (ID) fellowship at the University of Kentucky in July 2023. His current academic status is PGY-5.
