Mark Häberlein is Professor of Early Modern History in the Department of History at the University of Bamberg's Faculty of Historical and Geographical Sciences, a position he has held since 2004. His academic career spans prestigious institutions including the University of Freiburg and Pennsylvania State University.

Häberlein's research focuses on international networks of early modern merchant companies, religious movements, and migration patterns.
