Mark Harris is an Associate Professor and Interim Department Chair in the Department of Cyber Security at Augusta University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Business/Commerce and Management Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with multiple other degrees. His research focuses on socio-behavioral aspects of information security, particularly trust-based models influencing technology adoption (e.g., mobile payments, telemedicine). He has received awards including the Augusta University Graduate School Distinguished Service Award (2020) and SCCS Outstanding Faculty Award (2020).
