Mark Dras is a Professor in the School of Computing at Macquarie University, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), computational linguistics, and AI ethics. He holds academic roles including Director of Research Training and Deputy Director of the Frontier AI Research Centre. His research focuses on NLP applications in privacy, native language identification, and healthcare, with over 140 publications and 21 active research projects.
