معرفی
Mark Deshmane is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany, affiliated with the Department of High-Field Magnetic Resonance. He works in the research group of Prof. Scheffler on protein chemical exchange saturation transfer MRI (CEST-MRI) at ultra-high field (UHF) strengths as part of the DFG-funded project qCEST. His research focuses on detecting proteins and metabolites in human brain tissues using controlled signal losses in the water proton pool, particularly at 9.4T, where he addresses challenges related to magnetic field inhomogeneities through parallel transmission and optimized radiofrequency pulses.
- Current Role: Researcher (Post-Doc), Department of High-Field Magnetic Resonance
- Key Techniques: CEST-MRI, Ultra-High Field MRI, Parallel Transmission, RF Pulse Optimization
His work bridges medical physics, biomedical engineering, and neuroimaging to advance MRI methodologies for clinical and pathological applications.
