Mark Cottle is an Associate Professor and Director of Exhibitions at Georgia Institute of Technology, holding roles as Director of the Architecture Undergraduate International Studio. He earned a B.A. in English from Clemson University (1979), M.Arch from Rice University (1988), and MDesS from Harvard University (1989). His research explores themes like Afrofuturism, architectural theory, and the intersection of art/design with social/environmental issues.
Key projects include The Cost of Money, an ongoing art project critiquing capital's human/environmental toll, exhibited at the Neutra VDL House (2019) and scheduled for the Mies Pavilion in Barcelona (2023).
