Mark Clark is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the College of Business, The University of Texas at Arlington. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses including Strategic Management, Negotiations & Conflict Resolution, and Business in Global Environment, with active teaching assignments through Fall 2025.
His research interests span strategic management, negotiations, business ethics, and public administration, informed by his PhD in Public Affairs and professional engagement in management education.
He is actively involved in academic service, serving on the BBA Hospitality Degree Committee, Ayres Scholarship Committee, University Enhancement Plan (UEP) and Assurance of Learning (AOL) Committee, and as a judge for the MAV Pitch Competition. His professional memberships include the Academy of Management and the American Society of Public Administration.
Mark Clark holds a PhD in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Dallas (2013), an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies (1997), an MBA in Business Administration (1991), an MS in Management and Administrative Sciences (1988), and a BA in Economics & Finance (1984), all from the same institution.
He also maintains professional certifications in coaching and real estate, including Lifetime Member and Certified Coach from the American Swimming Coaches Association, Certified Coach from United States Masters Swimming, and active Texas Real Estate Broker license. These reflect a broader professional profile beyond academia.
