Mark Brodie is a Professor of Computer Science at Simpson University, affiliated with the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Born in South Africa, he earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2000 and previously worked at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center before joining Simpson in 2008.

His research spans Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Distributed Systems.
