Mark Brabazon

Mark Brabazon SC is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Fellow at the Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne, specializing in international taxation and legal practice. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (2018) focused on international trust taxation and teaches advanced international tax in the Melbourne Law Masters program. His practice areas include tax law, equity, commercial law, administrative law, and professional regulation. He is the author of *International Taxation of Trust Income* (Cambridge University Press, 2019) and contributed to the *Global Tax Treaty Commentaries*.

Mark is a Senior Counsel admitted in New South Wales since 1988, with silk appointment in 2008. He previously chaired the NSW Council of Law Reporting (2016–2021) and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. His expertise spans tax treaty applications, legal costs, and legal profession regulation.
