Marjon Ames

Dr. Marjon Ames is a Teaching Professor in the Department of History at Appalachian State University. She earned her Ph.D. in early modern and medieval religious history from the University of Mississippi. Her research examines radical religious communities in seventeenth-century Britain, with a specialization in women's roles within Quaker letter networks during the English Civil War and Interregnum periods. She actively contributes to the Women’s Early Modern Letters Online project at Oxford University and mentors first-generation college applicants.
