Marjan M. Matejic

Marjan M. Matejic is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Electronics, Department of Mathematics, University of Niš since 2022. He holds a PhD in Mathematics from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Niš (2016), preceded by a Master's (2005) and Bachelor's degree (2001) in the same field. His research focuses on graph theory with emphasis on topological indices, spectral graph theory, and combinatorial analysis. He has published over 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals, including FILOMAT, MATCH Communications in Mathematical and in Computer Chemistry, and Discrete Applied Mathematics. His work explores properties of graph invariants like inverse degree indices, Kirchhoff index, and Laplacian matrices, contributing to theoretical frameworks for network analysis and chemical graph theory. Collaborations with researchers like Emina Milovanović and Igor Milovanović highlight his active role in interdisciplinary mathematical research.
