Mariusz Wszołek

Mariusz Wszołek is an Associate Professor at SWPS University, affiliated with the Faculty of Law and Social Communication in Wrocław and leading the Department of Graphic Design within the Institute of Social Sciences and Institute of Design. As a communication design researcher and design theorist, he specializes in inclusive, participatory, and sustainable design doctrines. He also serves as Deputy Director of the Institute of Design and Head of the Department of Graphic Design.

His research focuses on the intersection of graphic design, user experience, and social communication. He has edited the Manual and Communication Design publishing series and authored works on advertising, design processes, and sustainable practices. At SWPS University, he teaches courses in Design Theory and Practice, Corporate Identity, Packaging Design, and Creation.

Wszołek actively consults on communication strategies for institutions like NEONET, Media Markt, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He coordinates the extramural doctoral program in Fine Arts and Art Conservation and contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives such as legal design through the Legal Communication Design Center.
