Dr. Marius Maskoliūnas is a Researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astronomy (ITPA), Vilnius University. His scientific work focuses on astronomy and astrophysics, with research interests spanning stellar parameters, stellar remnants, interstellar dust and extinction, gravitational lensing, and photometric optical observations.
Dr. Maskoliūnas contributes to the Polish–Lithuanian Black Hole hunt project (S-LL-19-2) funded by the Research Council of Lithuania. He teaches the "Electricity and Magnetism" course and actively participates in science popularization through events like "Erdvėlaivis Žemė" and "Studentas vienai dienai".
